In accordance with TAGB training and grading requirements, all 1st Kups, 2nd Kups and Black Belts must attend at least one of the three scheduled training sessions.

October 2026 Black Belt Grading
Dates: 9th, 10th & 11th October 2026
Venue: Hellidon Lakes, Hellidon, Daventry, NN11 6GG
Grading Schedule
1st Dan Black Belts
All 1st Dan candidates will grade first on the Friday morning. Candidates will be called in order, beginning with the smallest 1st Dans and progressing through to the taller candidates, followed by the higher Dan grades.
1st Kup Candidates
1st Kup candidates are expected to grade on the Saturday at approximately midday. Exact times are to be confirmed.
Grading Eligibility
Students wishing to grade must have completed all TAGB grading requirements before submitting their application forms, including:

Venue: Bradford Unique Lifestyle Gym, University of Bradford

Important: Please use postcode BD7 1RD for navigation, as it will direct you closer to the Sports Centre side of the University campus.

Session 2 – Liverpool
Date: Sunday, 27th September

Date: Saturday, 3rd October

Important: Head towards the swimming pool entrance upon arrival.
Please Note: This session has been provisionally booked with the school. There is a small possibility that the hall may become unavailable. Should this occur, an alternative venue will be arranged for the same date and times, and all participants will be notified as soon as possible.

- Their licence book or attendance card.
- Cash to pay the training fee (please note that card payments are not available at any session).
- Their white session card, fully completed with their name and school details.
- Full TAGB white dobok (uniform) only – club suits are not permitted.
- Full sparring equipment, which is required at all sessions.

Training Fees

- £8 for attendance at one training session.
- £10 for attendance at up to three Northern England Black Belt training sessions.
